Your Xbox 360 can make or break your day. If your feeling so stressed out and you need to release that tension, you can sit back, relax, turn on your TV, turn on your Xbox 360, and start playing with your favorite video game to release your stress. With Xbox’s excellent gaming features, it can put you in another dimension where in you rule the world. But once your gaming session start crashing and freezing, you may have do to some Xbox 360 troubleshooting. It is unfortunate that with Xbox’s advance features, you may need to do some Xbox 360 troubleshooting from time to time. Perfection is hard to achieve even to Microsoft.


Some of the Xbox 360 troubleshooting tricks is easy to do. There will be times that your console will not turn on or you cant get any display from your TV. You can be thinking that your console is broken, but by simply checking on cabling could do the trick. Sometimes the cables have just loosened up and that is why your console is not getting any power. When you have been playing non stop and suddenly your computer freeze or crashed, another simple Xbox 360 troubleshooting trick to do is try to cool down your console for a while because your console might be overheating.Xbox 360 can overheat quickly so make sure that your console is not in a cabinet where there is poor ventilation. Try placing it in a well-ventilated area and you can also purchase a cooling unit so you can have much longer playing sessions.

There are cases that simple Xbox 360 troubleshooting tricks cant resolved your problem. Like the dreaded “red ring of death”, it is when your console start crashing and freezing all the time and the three red lights on your console starts dancing. It is considered a hardware failure on your console. This may require you to go to the nearest service center to have it fix. But it is going to cost you more than a hundred dollars to have it repaired and a very long wait before you can get back. You may consider yourself lucky if your console is till under warranty and to have to pay for the service but then again, you still have to wait for about 3 to 4 weeks before you can get a hold of your console and start playing again.
