The most dreaded Xbox 360 problem is the “red ring of death”. This usually occurs after loading a disc or if the disc needs to read the other part of the disc. When the console starts to have a problem reading the disc, three red lights will start dancing and that is when you start to have a problem. Sometimes unplugging and restarting the console can fix the problem but if it happens over and over again that you need to look for repair. A trip to the service center is probably the last thin you want to do. It may cost you more than a hundred dollars to have this repaired and it is like buying a new one. It will also take you three to four weeks of waiting before you can get back your system.

There is a lot of information from the Internet about resolving this issue but you need to do extensive research. Not all the information you get online is right and it may lead to a more damaging Xbox 360 problem. So you need to validate every information or procedures you obtained before trying them on your Xbox 360. Try going to forums or discussion board that talks about the Xbox 360 problems and get other peoples opinion. This may save you time and money and can get back to gaming as soon as possible.
